recommended?
absolutely, they are better than the boring old teething rings and other bits you can get as these have a nice taste, just like normal biscuits and cost next to nothing to by. these was recommended to me by my mum health visitor and quite a few friends too that have had little ones too.
sorry if review isn't up to scratch its been a while lol i'll get back into it soon. let me know if i've missed anyting or if you have any advice on making it better please do leave me a message in my guestbook. lou xx
Advantages: Everything About Them. Price. Taste. Disadvantages: None
Bickiepeg Teething Biscuits.
My daughter is 2 yrs n a few months. I bought these from boots when she was about 4/5 months old when she was teething...although it didn't bother her i just thought i'd buy something for her to chew on just to help.
They are made from wheat flour and water....(so i have been told) they have little white laces on the top of them so you can attach them to your childs wrist. Obviously you still can't leave them unattended. ... ...get them from most places and cost next to nothing....i bought them from boots and they were about £2 at the most. These are better then teething rings and other products used for teething...personally i think they are better because i think babies would like a little bit of a taste/flavour from something then just chewing on a ring thats been put in the freezer and numbing there little mouths.
I totally recommend these and give them 10/10 ...

Advantages: Can be applied every 20 minutes. Disadvantages: That I didn't find it sooner.
~*~ Dentinox Teething Gel ~*~
Relieve's teething pain and soothe infants' gums.
My son is now nearly 3. Thinking back to the times of teething? Urgh! Not nice! Joe used to have bad times with his teeth, bless him, and as a mother you feel you need to do all you can to help them. We'd tried and tested many teething gels and products including; Bonjela, Calgel and BickiepegsTeethingBiscuits.
I found the gels we'd used, you could just not apply them often enough. So I went searching for something else for my baby's gums. I came across Dentinox teething Gel in my local chemist. I'd never seen or heard of this before. I'd not seen it on any T.V adverts either. The lady in the chemist actually advised me against buying it, and said I would be better off with Bonjela. As I'd tried everything there was to try, I bought it ...
Advantages: Dont' break up like biscuits Disadvantages: Ribbon is dangerous
Bikiepegs have been around since 1925 and seem to be a favourite with Grannies. There are a hard rectangular biscuits which are suitable for teething babies. The pack of 9 biscuits also comes with a ribbion which you tie onto the little bickiepegs and then tie the ribbon around babies wrist. The biscuit itself is extremly hard and even after several minutes of chewing seems to retain it's original texture. I think that the texture is brilliant for teething babies, but the shape was a bit of a choking hazard as my son kept gaging on them. A round or oval shape biscuit would be much better. The ribbon was totally useless as my son could easliy pull it off his wrist and enjoy dropping it on the floor. it is advised that you attach the bickiepeg to your babies clothes but I could not find anywhere on my son's clothing to attach it ...

Advantages: Helps sooth teething babies Disadvantages: Cannot leave baby alone with them
As all parents will know one of the more traumatic experiences a young baby will go through is teething, theres no way to avoid it those little pegs have to come through eventually. Some people are lucky, like I was with my little boy, he had all his teeth by the age of six months and had almost no pain(well he didnt complain about it any way) other people have a complete nightmare from the second the tooth even thinks of growing, my daughter has had some problems with her teething, she doesnt complain too much but she'll chew on whatever she can get her chubby hands on and when she's choosing shoes and dog biscuit I have to draw the line. I remembered my little sister using Bickiepegs when she was a baby(18 years ago!) and, noticing that they were still around, decided they were worth a try.
