Advantages Advantages Small cheap, good quality

    Disadvantages Disadvantages no brakes

A child’s first sized pushbike, with stabilisers, squeaky horn and clip on basket. Adjustable handlebars and seat, suitable for children from approximately 2 to 4 years. Manufactured by Universal and costing around £30 from large toyshops such as Toys”r”us. My 2 year old was desperate for her own “big girls bike” with two wheels and stabilisers. I looked at many, most of which were above £50, as I didn’t have as much as that to spend, I homed in on this jazzy little bike initially sold in Index. After realising that they were from the old stock and that they ... more

Advantages Advantages saves you walking home!

Disadvantages Disadvantages be prepared to get your hands dirty

---THE SCENARIO--- One minute you're hurtling down the hill with the wind in your hair, the next you've shot into someone's garden after squashing a baby hedgehog. The bike tyre is buggered and you're going to have to fix it - but how are you going to get it off? ---FIRST CHECK--- If on the road, first, in order to detect a leak you can spit on your fingertip and put a film of saliva across the top of the valve to detect a leak. If the valve is not faulty then check the tyre for anything that may have caused the puncture, such as a nail or a piece of glass (or hedgehog spikes!) and note its ... more

    Advantages Advantages Light weight

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the top of the line product

The Raliegh R400 racing bike is a very nice bike for training and or beginners racing. I bought my bike about 1.5-2 years ago and have had nothing but enjoyment while riding it. The bike itself is a very nice bike. It comes in 4 sizes (small, medium, large and x-large). It is color coded mainly in blue and white with some silver lettering. It comes stock with Shimano Sora front and rear derailers, Shimano flight deck shift levers (this style shift lever is where the shifters are located on the brake handles instead of the old style where they are on the down tube). The front crank consist of a ... more

Advantages Advantages Front disc brake , Excellent double suspension , looks the part .

Disadvantages Disadvantages It calls it a Yankee Superbike

My bike is a Harlem Yankee Superbike . Age Groups:I would reccomend this bike to people of about 150cm tall or over(Roughly my height-Perfect size)as it is quite a large bike . Quality:This bike is of the highest quality . I have done roughly 15 miles on it in the last 5 days as I moved into the countryside 6 days ago and it's roughly 2 and a half miles to the nearest villages and shops . During these five days I have rode on grass(The suspension is great on grass and feels as though your on a normal road) , gravel paths/roads(The breaks make it great to pull skids on this type of terrain ... more

    Advantages Advantages Unisex

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Comes flat packed

My four year old daughter, who is a big Tweenies fan, could not ride a bike very well at all as her sense of balance seemed non-exsistant. That all changed when Santa Claus bought her one at Christmas. The very same day she could ride it up and down our path without any help, except of cause for the stabilizers which are great. The bike itself is very sturdy, very comfortable and very cool according to my daughter. It has excellent brakes on it which she mastered the use of very quickly and has plenty of growing room. Also because it is the Tweenies and is bright yellow it is also unisex which ... more
