Big Brain Academy For All You Clever People!!

Advantages: Great gameplay and fun activities
Disadvantages: Can get a bit repetitive

...test first to see how big your brain is and learn how to do everything.

The games are very fun and enjoyable, also great for ALL of the family. At the start you will find that children have bigger brains because they are quicker with the remote, but with a bit of practice adults do normally turn out better. This game is great for keeping your mind active! So a great educational game for your children! Also for adults it keeps your ...

In each of these 5 activities, you have 3 different games which test your brain. ... more

Big Brain Academy

Advantages: Simple, colourful, amusing
Disadvantages: Not much to it

...such as Brain Training and Big Brain Academy on the DS, Nintendo obviously realised they were onto a winner with their claims of games that can actually help to improve memory and knowledge. Therefore here's a review of Big Brain Academy, Nintendo's first attempt at brain training/memory games on the motion sensing Wii. Big Brain Academy is an extremely simple game. There's not exactly very much to it and you could easily complete all that the game ...
...is where the addictiveness in Big Brain Academy comes from - the desire to get all gold medals. Let's look at the games: IDENTIFY Whack Match: In this game, you are given some symbols at the top of the screen. They can be flowers, foods, any random thing. Moles will pop up from holes holding items - some of which are the symbols at the top of the screen, some of which aren't. The idea is to hit the moles that are holding the correct symbols. ...

Flex your brain the fun way!

Advantages: Good games, easy for kids
Disadvantages: None

Big Brain Academy - Flex your brain the fun was with family and friends. This game, in my opinion is a great game for adults and children alike. We've had it for a while now and play it from time to time as its great fun and we still haven't bored of it. The great thing about this game is that it is for kids 3+ and up and is a great learning tool as well as fun. It's always good as an adult as well to keep the old brain ticking over and this I think ...
...Big Brain is a game that measures your brain's weight by utilising a set of games and puzzles to solve. When you fist start the game you pick your Mii character (I always think its great fun to be able to play with your Mii character, especially as mine looks freakily like me!) and then enrol in the academy... The Mii character is then set as the photo on your student record book. The controls for this game are very easy. You use the Wii remote by ...

Brain Traning - "For teh kidz"

Advantages: Fun in short burst, Colourful, Entertaining.
Disadvantages: No long term appeal, a term off for gamers.

...: Making quality games. Big Brain Academy is a spin off of the more serious Brain training, and at it's roots are a series of simple puzzles meant to increase your brain power. Will it truely make you more intelligent? Who knows? But damn will you be able to pick out a cartoon donkey from miles away. We all know thats what counts. The menus are clean and crisp, and the cute visuals (For example, the animals on some of the mini games) will appeal ...
...this game will know that Big Brain Academy consists of numerous tests that determine your 'Brain weight'. Heavier being better. This may make some adults cringe as they'll see it's a gimmick however, again, children will lap this up as the fictional character 'Dr Lobe' takes them through their ' Wii Degree'. There’s no getting away from the fact this is an easy game, for adults they will Whizz through this and achieve a huge brain weight after a ...

Big Brain Shelf life??

Advantages: MiniGames that anyone can play, Good 2+ mode which saves the same, Fun presentation
Disadvantages: Limited excitement, needs more to entertain, annoying sequences in-between games with headteacher!

One of the first features that you are made aware of with this game is the fact that the game is Mii data compatible. This is a lovely way to again use/play with the mii’s that were creating them for games such as WiiSports and WiiPlay. This allows the game to store/save all your data in a student record books, which has your Mii face on it. I am not a DS owner whoever I had played the game on a friends and enjoyed it and hence why I went out and ...
...which is currently at the cheaper end of the gaming market and to a certain extent it needs to be. It is very similar in the terms of layout to the DS version, but I was expecting a lot lot more from the Wii version. I wouldn’t really call this a video game, more of a mental/brain task game. Like the DS version the solo game is spilt into ‘test’ and ‘practise’. The practice area is spilt into five separate areas categorised as "Think", "Memorize", ...

Big Brain Academy - Wii

Advantages: fun, educational, good value for money
Disadvantages: more difficult for younger players

Nintendo wii - Big brain academy : This game is great value for money and is one of the cheapest nintendo wii games i have seen. Priced anything between £15 and £20 i'd say it is fantastic value for money. I purchased this about 4 months ago now and i'm still hooked. I wouldn't say i play it every day but i do try to have a go at least once a week. Not only is this game great fun but you do learn whilst playing it. I love to have a go as it gives ...
...and gives me a real mental workout! You have the choice of playing mini games or working on your profile to see how your score is getting better. I love doing both. I work on my stats to give me the much needed practice to outsmart my dear husband! It's great to see his face when i beat him. From memorise to visualise, compute to identify and not to forget analyse, everyone will find their strong and weak points. For me my memory isn't too good ...
