The games are very fun and enjoyable, also great for ALL of the family. Me and my mum and dad played it at christmas and as they never use any consoles or anything it was very funny to try and watch them do the activities. They could answer and solve the puzzles but wasn't quick enough with the wii remote. So the first experience i had with this game was probably the best.
Well I best start talking about the game itself or it will be a pointless review :). Well as i stated above it is an enjoyable game! If you can class it as a game, it is more of a puzzle solving quick thinking game using a wii remote as the pointer.
Well when you first start the game, you can create a character or use one of your already created mii's to play, which is good if you have already created your own mii and want to use that. Also you can have as eight players at a time, but you can only use four wii remotes, but it can be played with just one wii remote. If playing with more than just one player it is also handy if you have a wii remote for each player, then you can play head to head which makes it more enjoyable for your experience.
Once you have created your mii and entered your name and all the little bits you need to do before you start. You will come into a corridor on your screen and you will be asked to do a test first to see how big your brain is and learn how to do everything.

At the start you will find that children have bigger brains because they are quicker with the remote, but with a bit of practice adults do normally turn out better. This game is great for keeping your mind active! So a great educational game for your children! Also for adults it keeps your minds working and in top shape.
There are five different activities in the game which give you the total weight of your brain : identify - solve quick thinking problems, Memorise - use your memory to help you with these brainy challenges, Identify - absorb the details and make a thoughtful selection, Compute - Number crucnching skills, and finally visualise - study what you see and visualise the answer. In each of these 5 activities, you have 3 different games which test your brain. The quicker you answer them and the more you get right the bigger the size of your brain. Its that simple - yeah right!!!
There is also practice mode, where you can practice your weakest subjects and try to improve them, test mode where you increase your brain weight. There is also multiplayer games, where you can do a variety of different activities and compete against friends and family to see who really has the biggest brain.
Well that is about all i have to say about this wonderful little game and to add the price of the game is also great.
The only weakness to the game is probably the graphics, but the graphics on all wii games aren't very good, so that is a disadvantage to the console not the game. It also does get a bit repetive but it does get harder as you go on which cancels it out a bit. But overall i would rate it as a good game. And an enjoyable one for the whole family.
Advantages: Simple, colourful, amusing Disadvantages: Not much to it
...such as Brain Training and Big Brain Academy on the DS, Nintendo obviously realised they were onto a winner with their claims of games that can actually help to improve memory and knowledge. Therefore here's a review of Big Brain Academy, Nintendo's first attempt at brain training/memory games on the motion sensing Wii.
Big Brain Academy is an extremely simple game. There's not exactly very much to it and you could easily complete all that the game ... ...is where the addictiveness in Big Brain Academy comes from - the desire to get all gold medals.
Let's look at the games:

Whack Match: In this game, you are given some symbols at the top of the screen. They can be flowers, foods, any random thing. Moles will pop up from holes holding items - some of which are the symbols at the top of the screen, some of which aren't. The idea is to hit the moles that are holding the correct symbols.

Big Brain Academy - Flex your brain the fun was with family and friends.
This game, in my opinion is a great game for adults and children alike. We've had it for a while now and play it from time to time as its great fun and we still haven't bored of it. The great thing about this game is that it is for kids 3+ and up and is a great learning tool as well as fun. It's always good as an adult as well to keep the old brain ticking over and this I think ... ...Big Brain is a game that measures your brain's weight by utilising a set of games and puzzles to solve. When you fist start the game you pick your Mii character (I always think its great fun to be able to play with your Mii character, especially as mine looks freakily like me!) and then enrol in the academy... The Mii character is then set as the photo on your student record book. The controls for this game are very easy. You use the Wii remote by ...

Big Brain Academy is a spin off of the more serious Brain training, and at it's roots are a series of simple puzzles meant to increase your brain power. Will it truely make you more intelligent? Who knows? But damn will you be able to pick out a cartoon donkey from miles away. We all know thats what counts.

Advantages: MiniGames that anyone can play, Good 2+ mode which saves the same, Fun presentation Disadvantages: Limited excitement, needs more to entertain, annoying sequences in-between games with headteacher!
One of the first features that you are made aware of with this game is the fact that the game is Mii data compatible. This is a lovely way to again use/play with the mii’s that were creating them for games such as WiiSports and WiiPlay. This allows the game to store/save all your data in a student record books, which has your Mii face on it.

It is very similar in the terms of layout to the DS version, but I was expecting a lot lot more from the Wii version. I wouldn’t really call this a video game, more of a mental/brain task game. Like the DS version the solo game is spilt into ‘test’ and ‘practise’. The practice area is spilt into five separate areas categorised as "Think", "Memorize", ...

Nintendo wii - Big brain academy :
This game is great value for money and is one of the cheapest nintendo wii games i have seen. Priced anything between £15 and £20 i'd say it is fantastic value for money.
I purchased this about 4 months ago now and i'm still hooked. I wouldn't say i play it every day but i do try to have a go at least once a week.
