Billy BearSausage is made from Turkey and Pork and can be purchased from Tesco amongst other supermarkets, either in packets similar to ham which contain 5 slices or from the Deli Counter.
Billy Bear is ideal for a childs lunchbox as the cute design will encourage a child to eat there dinner. It can also be served with salad for a more healthy option.
Billy Bear needs to be consumed within two days of opening the package which is not bad seeing they put 5 slices in a packet, you find your not wasting any by the time you have made a few buttys. Billy Bear is also packaged in a protective atmosphere and as allergy's go the recipe contains no nuts, the factory does not handle nuts but the ingredients may contain nuts. It says, Ingredients: Cannot guarantee no nuts. So i would not recommend this to a Nut Allergy sufferer.
Roughly the price of a pack which contains 5 slices is 89p so in my opinion it offers good value for money.
Using the new system of measuring calories etc etc. One slice of Billy Bear gives you the following:
Calories - 32 - 2% of your daily guideline Sugar - 0.2g - <1% of your daily guideline Fat - 1.8g - 3% of your daily guideline Saturates - 0.6g - 3% of your daily guideline salt - 0.3g - 5% of your daily guideline
So not only does it look inviting to kids, its not half bad for there health either, you could give a child something a lot worse.
