Advantages: Good for the enviroment Disadvantages: Have a shelf life so cant be kept in cupboard forever
They are good for garden rubbish, quite strong if not handled too rough. I have dressings on my leg, and with the help of a elastic band i can have a shower without getting dressings wet , and when they need changing i vcan use bag for disposal of old dressings. (Must be good) I also run a engineering business, we produce a lot of swarf, two bags put together hold a reasonable amount of swarf which can be thrown into the bin and saves money on ... they help you make things tidy and you can put them in the bin. they are not eco friendly but they are cheap so that is why i buy them. I buy the for 1pounds 49 pence fome the local shop which is a spar. they sell white ones to which is nice a good clean colour. I would be lodt without bin liners as my bin would overflow and this would make a mess and i dont like mess. It is very un healthy to have dried off food all over and not i the bin bags ......rubbish starts to smell and i makes the house smell and me to, so the bin liners protect me from the rubbish and protect the rubbish from cats. ...I did until I found Tuffy degradable bin liners. As some of you may be aware my job as a environmental microbiologist has me grubbing around all sorts of unsavory places, my current position deals with pig muck amongst other things. A previous position I had dealt with disposal of heavy metals (not the musical kind) in landfill, that’s a rubbish tip to the uninitiated. So we had barrow fulls of seasoned rubbish to sort through by hand. One ......This is where Tuffy came in and created the worlds first degradable bin liner. What on earth is the benefit of that? Since it essentially disappears, over time it reduces the amount of waste in the landfill which is a very valuable commodity, 80,000 tonnes of polythene generated from refuse sack production in the UK alone.
