Moving into a new house spurred me on to buy this phone, saving me the problems of cabling everywhere (especially after the BT man installed the line and wired up the existing extension the wrong way round). This kit seemed to offer a good compromise of price and features, with two handsets, handsfree and answerphone at £120. They may be even cheaper now as it's 18 months since I bought them. I know you can now get a 4 handset kit from Binatone for the same price now. I bought this phone about 3 years ago and am still using it, so it can't be that bad. Reception & Range: The quality of the reception is very good, the line is always clear (Unless I ring my parents you have a really bad cordless) and I have never been cut off. My wife and I do walk arround the house while on the phone and we haven't had any problems. Speaker Phone: I find the speaker phone on it pretty poor. Living in a house with 3 floors, we decided shouting wasn't the best way to communicate between them. We also didn't want to fill the house up with wires. So we decided to get a set of telephones that had an intercom facility. We firstly went into the BT shop and they managed to only have one handset at a ridiculous £100. So it would have ended up costing us £200. We carried on looking throughout the day to find much the same thing.
