"Simply stunning"

Oh my! I saw this in the shop and it stopped me in my tracks so I bought a pair of these cordless digital phones with answerphone on the spot.

What had attracted me so? Easy - the stunning glossy black polycarbonate case with a thick layer of clear polycarbonate on top just looks incredible. The buttons are flush with the fron of the phone and have an excellent feel to them, a bit of give before they 'click'.
The display is an inverse white on blue affair and complements the styling of the phone brilliantly . The display is very clear and can easily be read in all light conditions. Additionally, the contrast/brightness is adjustable to your preference.
Sound quality when using the phone is very good and clear. You can listen to answerphone messages through the earpiece or on a loudspeaker which seems to manage a less muffled rendition of messages than is usually the case.
As is the norm these days, you can record your own greeting.

In contrast to the phones, which feel well built and of good quality, the base stations are a disappointment. They still look excellent with their shiny black polycarbonate and red and blue lines that light up to indicate messages waiting. However, there is no weight to them at all and in fact they can be difficult to keep upright when there is no phone in the cradle (the weight of the flex being enough to tip them over or pull them off the desk).
Additionally, the phones do not sit snugly in the cradles, instead being free to 'wobble about', and this just does not seem right as it covneys an impression of lack of attention or thought.
The phone menus are a bit compicated, but once you've read the instructions and got used to how they work then all becomes clear.
As with all polycarbonate items, these phones scratch extremely easily and they soon become scuffed where they sit in the charging cradle.

In summary, a very practical, high quality and sexy looking phone that would look great in any modern home. The package is let down only by the uneccesarily cheap-feeling base stations.
