Binatone is a well established and recognised trademark where phones are concerned. It is knows to be a reliable and good value company. All of this is true of the Speakerphone 200.

The phone is modern looking, its is black with hard black buttons and white numbering. On each number is the corresponding letters. There is a large silver button which turns the speaker of the phone on and off. There are smaller buttons which allow the memory functins to be programmed and recalled. There is also a latger redial button. The phone can be made louder or quieter by a switch on the side of the phone. The reciever is sleek, smooth and light. There is a small screen at the top of the phone which displays the time and date.

The phone has many features. 13 numbers can be stored within the phone for easy access. Three of these memories have seperate buttons while the others are recalled by pressing the memory key and then a number under which he number has been saved. Saving the numbers is easy enoughsimply press the STORE button and then ente the number follwed by the position you wish to enter it under and then press STORE again.

While on the phone you can use the speaker as a hands free tool and talk via the speaker. You can pause your conversation with the SECRECY button.

While on standby the phone will display the time digitally on the screen. While making or recieving a call the screen displays the call duration.

The phone can be purchased reasonably at Argos, Staples, Currys, Comet, etc. It is widely available and costs between £14.50 and £24.99.

I have never had any problems with the phone. It is mounted on a wall in on of our outside buildings. It has fallen from the wall become damp and still it is in perfect working order. Its robust and reliable. An inexpensive phone that can be highly recommended.
