***What would make it Better***
There are alot of ways to make this better like the following:
1)LCD Display
2)Answer Machine
3) Caller Display Module.
and a million others probably.
This handset is a cheap one and i only paid £4.99 for it. My father always said dont pay cheap because you will only get the basics to get you up and running. I wish i had taken his advice. I wouldn't even give this to my 10 year old sister to play with. It is Very Fisher-Price. You buy cheap you get Rubbish.
***Reception***
The BinatoneTrend offers good reception in most area's.
***Internet***
The bad this about this is that you cannot link this handset up to the internet. I am going out tomorrow to by that new Amstrad e-mailer phone. That is brilliant. ...

After only recently having had a phone line put into our flat and having to put up with an old cast off phone from my parents (which kept cutting out due to a dodgy cable) we decided to fork out and buy a new one!
A quick browse through the handy Argos catalogue told us that you could get a fairly reasonable phone for a very cheap price. We really only wanted one to make basic calls on and nothing too fancy.

This particular phone, "Binatonetrend 2 LCD", was available for a mere £6.95 pence (page 1029 of the Argos catalogue). Argos just seem to be selling the silver one but the box states it is available in Champagne, Metallic Blue, White and Black.

Following the break down of my BT Quartet Cordless telephones I decided that cheap was indeed more cheerful and more than capable of fulfilling the duties of any standard telephone.
So instead of parting once again with near-on £100 for 2 handsets and a base, I opted for a White BinatoneTrend Telephone from Argos (now there’s a surprise!). Being the lowest priced telephone in the catalogue coming it at an amazing £6.99 I was quite prepared to give this one a whirl so you can imagine finding that it was on sale in the shop at a mere £4.99 was even better.
OK so this model doesn’t sing and dance and being a one-piece set doesn’t offer as much freedom to jaw whilst you wander around the house but, having previously experienced problems with poor signal and crackly lines from a few cordless phones that claim they do ...
