Recently our home phone packed up so we had to look for a new one, we didn't want one that was very expensive as we don't use the phone that much and didn't see the point in spending a fortune for it to just sit there.
After looking through the Argos catalogue I came across the BinatoneVeva 1200, it was a single cordless handset and cost £18.99, just what we where looking for so of I went to purchase it.
What's in the Box?
In the box you get the handset, the base for the handset, the mains cable, a telephone cable and a set of instructions that tell you how to use the various features of the phone.

The range of reception is perfectly adequate- I used the handset it indoors at a range of about 15 yards, on a different floor to the base station. I have heard reports that this capability degrades over time with some Binatone models, but as I have only owned mine for around 1 month, I can't comment on this.
Overall, this is a good-value DECT, and if you're not looking for anything posh, then it's well worth considering. ...

Introduction
At work, we still live in the dark ages where wired telephones are very much the norm. In our office however, we have dedicated support PC's which we constantly need to move to from our own PC's. As it was getting silly with trailing wires all over the office floor, the boss decided to buy us a new hands free phone kit. The kit he went for was the Binatone E800 twin set. I think this was probably the cheapest he could find but nonetheless we were still grateful as it was an unexpected gesture from him.
In the box
The box itself was very small, containing just the 2 handsets, 2 small bases, a power lead and the instruction manual. Being IT guys, we completely ignored the manual and attempted to set the phones up the way we thought.
