At the age of nearly 41, I had been experiencing irregular bleeding for several months. and the root powder can be sprinkled on food or in a little water, this is how I take it. It is grey in colour and has a slight peppery flavour.
The dosage depends on the concentrate of the extract. I take one 1000mg capsule a day. It is best to take this herb first thing in the morning.
Avoid using AgnusCastus if you become pregnant or are already pregnant.
AgnusCastus is also helpful for constipation, flatulence and hangovers.
It can be brought in chemists with the vitamin supplements or health shops and even on the internet it is quite expensive costing between £4.99 - £18.99 for 90 capsules depending on the make and where its purchased.
It is always advisable to read the instructions and seek advice before taking a product like this.
