Advantages: Over the counter Disadvantages: Could interract with medication
...I was reading an article in a recent Readers’ Digest all about herbalremedies and how they can actually work against, reduce effectiveness of, or even magnify effects of G.P. prescribed medications. Dab neat oil onto insect bites and stings, spots and athlete’s foot. For earache add 1 drop lavender to 5ml luke warm oilve oil. Put a couple of drops into the child’s ear before bedtime, plug with a little cottonwool and leave overnight. Add 1-2 drops to an electric vaporiser to use for babies who are restless, snuffly or have chest coughs or viral infections.
