I thought I should give an update on herbal remedies. Let me say, first and foremost, that I am a great believer in natural remedies. However, as I was reading the Daily Mail yesterday evening (Tuesday 6 January 2004) I came across an article (under the Good Health section) about a lady who has had severe health problems due to a certain herb from a Chinese high shop. Now, before you all go up in arms, I am sure that, as in most cases in life, the majority of these shops are genuine, but obviously the odd one does escape the net. Herbal Cold and Flu Remedies.

Advantages: Chance to avoid colds and Flu and the misery they cause.
Disadvantages: I suppose it could be more time consuming than over the counter ready remedies.

but until there is a good and well proven herbal alternative which satisfies me I have not option but to have it as back up. I am hoping that during this coming year I will find my alternative to the flu jab and when I do I will let you know. The majority of the remedies are Herbal as I personaly prefer these to over the counter remedies as I know what is in them and also they are natural and better made use of by your body. It is also a more Holistic approach, treating the whole body rather than just the bits that are making you feel bad, it can also include the environment that you live in. Bio Oil

Advantages: Reduces stretchmarks, uneven skin tone, scars etc
Disadvantages: A little bit expensive but worth it

I have been using Bio Oil twice a day for the last six months and I am amazed at the results.
