SlipperyElm - what a wonderful name for a very old fashioned remedy. "What is it?" - you may wonder. It is a powder derived from the bark of the SlipperyElm Tree. It has been in use for centuries as a remedy for digestive problems and is known as a 'gentle and effective remedy for irritated states of the mucous membranes of the chest, urinary tubules, stomach and intestines'. Its Latin name is 'Ulmus Rubra'.
I came across this remedy some time ago when I had a kitten with a bad bout of diarrhoea which I was trying to resolve. I heard about SlipperyElm as a traditional remedy for that sort of problem. Advantages: Reduces stretchmarks, uneven skin tone, scars etc Disadvantages: A little bit expensive but worth it
I have been using Bio Oil twice a day for the last six months and I am amazed at the results. I had never heard of Bio Oil before until my mum bought me a bottle, she bought me a bottle of it because I was forever complaining about the appearance of the stretch marks I have on my belly and boobs.
