...and acting mature was probably all a publicity stunt. However , I forgot that Pete had his own autobiography and when I read something about his book I thought 'oh my god I havn't read it!' and so I went ahead and bought a copy. Peter Andre was born on February 1973 in Harrow , London, although his parents are Greek and he grew up in Australia. He first rose to fame on the Australian television show New Faces in 1990 and it was after that he became ...
...Morning. Peter Andre : All About Us - My Story is Peter's autobiography released on 18th June 2008. This book was published by John Blake Publishing LTD and is two hundred and eighty eight pages long. In this book Peter tells us of his journey. The book reveals a lot of details about Katie and Peter's marriage. I have read all of Katie's autobiography (yes! all three of them!) and so have seen things from her point of view , so was was interested ...

"IT"doesnt sound right....

Advantages: A cant put the book down read
Disadvantages: Maybe a fictional?

...abuse and threatening behavior to a child by his drunken mother is one of sorrow and heartbreak. Dave tells of how his family was once a loving close family until his mother becomes a drunk in a short amount of time. What follows is Dave's account of survival. He tells of physical abuse at the hands of his mother, how she punishes him by starving him, feeding him poison, making him sit in cold baths for hours on end, making him eat vomit and excrement ...
...Dave survived things like not eating (surely he would be emaciated?) and his mother making him drink Amonia. If this is a completely true story, then I retract my statement of doubt. It's just too hard to believe that no-one notices this appalling abuse in a young childs life. ...

A Man named Dave

Advantages: Very touching biography
Disadvantages: Sometimes it can get to intimadating to read

...the abuse Dave had as a child it brings tears to your eyes to think that a mother could do something so gruesome and unhuman like to their own son. I find it truly comforting that Dave can speak of his abuse, I have read quite a few biographies where the authors have been abused but Dave Pelzers biographies are by far the very best. I would seriously reccommend this book to anyone that is interested in biographies. ...

Descent into madness

Advantages: See Op
Disadvantages: See Op

...one of its many sufferers. An Unquiet Mind is the true memoir of Jamison's extended descent into 'madness'. Born into a middle-class American family, Jamison was blessed with prosperous parents, intelligence and self-confidence. But along with her father and elder sister, she was prone to periods of severe 'black' moods. Jamison accepted these episodes as just being part of her personality. . . until. . . by the time she had settled into her Doctorate, ...
...and vibrant disposition. An unquiet mind is a brave personal story, which, no doubt, could have cost the author dearly in terms of her professional life. It is not a book geared for certain groups but is for anyone with preconceived notions of mental health. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of all is Jamison's explanations of the positive aspects of her condition and the europhoria brought... As a result of this, her memoir is also an educational ...

REAL LIFE AT ITS BEST

Advantages: entertaining,funny and factual
Disadvantages: none

I loved this book. I think all of Imogen Edwards Jones books are very cleverly written. It gives you an insight into the way that an airport and airlines work with all the behind the scenes stuff added in too. At the same time it has all the characters of a fictional book that you just love and learn to warm to. I struggled putting this book down. I love the way that she writes with an anonymous writer too. Reading it is actually quite shocking. ...
...airport or how sneaky and devious some airlines are. It also gives you a few inside tricks to get upgraded on the plane. There are also things in the book that yuo hear about happening but are never quite sure wether they actually do such as bribing etc. A truly excellent read in a knowledgable way as well as entertaining and funny. ...
