Tales of a fast lady.
Review of Spreading My Wings - Diana Barnato Walker by Nige7Whit

Advantages: Fascinating historical account of a remarkable woman.
Disadvantages: None

If you're into the history of aviation, you should love this book, it charts the action packed life and adventures of a woman born in 1918 to a somewhat wealthy family, and her exploits in the Air Transport Auxilliary (ATA) as a ferry pilot, delivering new aircraft from factories to the fighting squadrons in World War 2, often without radios or navigation equipment (which presented a hazard on it's own). Later, after the war, she continued flying, ... Read review

Just another marilyn monroe book?
Review of The Assassination of Marilyn Monroe - Donald H. Wolfe by sarah24484

Advantages: The whole book, start to finish!
Disadvantages: There is none really unless you are a kennedy fan!!!

...understood who she was. From the first page of that book i was a hooked fan everything about her was so intriguing and the pictures in the book where truely amazing, at the age of 13 when maybe i should of wanted to be like the spice girls like most other girls my age i was classing marilyn monroe as a beautiful woman who after reading about her life i deeply admired. So 11 years on and i have to say iam still a great fan of the biggest sex symbol ...
...hers its her background and the on going struggle of her life and quest to find happiness that makes me a fan. After reading many books on her life and death and the mystery that surronds most of it i must admit i was getting a little bored of reading the same things over and over again most books on marilyn tend to tell you about her hard childhood and her mothers mental illness and the fact she was moved from foster home to childrens home untill ... A Few Lines From Danniella...
Review of The Other Side Of Nowhere - Danniella Westbrook by KarenUK

Advantages: Interesting read, great anti-drugs message, informative.
Disadvantages: Needs to be proof-read better, could do with more details on her life in general.

...So I checked round for the best prices and found it available on Ebay, brand new for only £5. I started reading it the day it arrived and had finished it all in two days, but could easily have read it all straight off, if I'd had the time and no distractions. I love reading autobiographies, but The Other Side Of Nowhere isn't exactly an autobiography. Danniella was interviewed on This Morning last week and explained that it wasn't a kiss-and-tell ...
...Danniella's book isn't only about the topic covered. We do get to find out quite a lot about her childhood, her upbringing and family and her career. She describes her comfortable middle class background, her time at the famous Sylvia Young school and her break as she joined EastEnders as Sam Mitchell in her teens. There was a lot I didn't know in this part and it was the most interesting section of the book for me, especially as my eldest daughter ... Read review

An ordinary boy...not so ordinary circumstances
Review of Tim: An Ordinary Boy - Colin & Wendy Parry by Secre

Advantages: True, first half of book is amazing, educational as well
Disadvantages: Heartbreaking, and the second half of the book is nearly unreadable

...hours.) Boring Stuff Title: Tim: An Ordinary Boy Author: Colin and Wendy Parry (although the book seems to be from Colin's perspective) Genre: Biography Publisher: Hodder & Stoughton Ltd; New Ed edition (3 Aug 1995) ISBN-13: 978-0340617908 Price: Amazon: from £.0.01 at time of writing, Background Colin and Wendy Parry are two remarkable figures who did a great deal of work towards the IRA ceasefire and eventual peace in 1994. However, ...
...these two people did not have every reason to be filled with hatred and bitterness towards the people they were trying to help...and being able to turn that bitterness into an instinct to bring together the very people who have hurt you really is remarkable. You see, their son, Tim Parry, was one of the people killed in the IRA bombing of Warrington in 1993, in fact one of only two people killed, and to make it worse - two children. Tim was only ... Being Jordan - Katie Price
Review of Being Jordan - Katie Price by Twistedprincess

Advantages: Let me know more about katie price
Disadvantages: There was none

Over all i really enjoyed reading jordans first book. I felt like there were no lies, all truth. Every page made me want to read more and more, i found it hard to put the book down. It all really let every one into katie's past, what she's been through, how she got to where she is, all of her past relationships. Through this book, Katie has shown her courage and shown how she has not let any one bring her down or stop her getting to the amazing and ... Read review
