Advantages: A story full of love, courage and positivity
Disadvantages: the ending

I'm not a huge reader, i tend to read books about girls in the sun when im sunbathing on a beach on my own holidays! I've never read, or been interested in reading a biography. I dont knwo exactly what drew me to read this book in the first place but once i'd started i couldn't put it down. ...should be an inspiration to everybody, not just with illness. It's initally very upsetting but as you get into the book you feel as though you can see how Caron coped and it becomes less upsetting and more uplifting. In the end, although you are prepared for what is coming, it is heart breaking. This book is amazing and has converted me to go on and read other biographies. Advantages: Candid account, frighteningly honest
Disadvantages: Dull in parts for fans of other clubs

Fans of Man City, Crewe, and now Nottingham Forest will find this an interesting read. Supporters of Leicester City and Celtic will simply devour it, as it covers golden periods for both clubs.
