russell Brand- My Booky Wook
Review of My Booky Wook - Russell Brand by Xx-kitti-xX

Advantages: easy read, funny and catching
Disadvantages: Offence language and topics

I enjoyed reading this very much, however i did find it a little hard to get into it at the begining but once it picked up i couldn't put it down! It's a very funny read telling you many of Russell Brand's incidents, once that to be honest wouldn't happen to many of us! I liked how easy the book was to read but i found that it goes into much detail and uses a lot of bad languages and talks a lot about alcohol, sex and drugs. I wouldn't advise reading ...
...these three topics and do not like to hear much detail about them. Over all i found that this book had me laughing all the way through. I have recommended it to many friends who have gone out and brought it and they also enjoyed reading it. hope this helps. ... Read review

A good old gossip
Review of Wicked Whispers - Jessica Callan by Alderson100

Advantages: Light hearted, no serious brain thinker
Disadvantages: Start to wonder about the morals of a gossip columnist

...did... in the shape of Wicked Whispers by Jessica Callan. I didn't know too much about the 3am girls and I hadn't heard of the author before but I thought i would be worth a try. This book is like sitting next to your mate and having a good old gossip. It's light-hearted and goes through the many nights Jessica spent at celebrity parties trying to get the latest gossip. You will be amazed when you find out which celebrity footballer asked her for ...
...took home but unfortunately made a run for freedom when he found out she was a journalist and astounded at the celebrity that took a pee in front of her and asked for help with her cat suit. You will find out who are the down to earth celebrities and who need to brought back down to earth. This book should not be taken too seriously and to enjoy it you need to cast aside your views of gossip columnists, at times I had to wonder whether it was fair ... Read review

Readable if you like tragic life stories!
Review of Someone to Watch Over Me - Izzy Hammond by marymoose99

Advantages: Readable, passed the time, short
Disadvantages: Nothing new, not even written by her!

...generally give them back for someone else to buy. I keep telling myself that I won't read any more of these tragic life story books, but for some reason when they are 25p I feel I ought to buy them. I know that at some point this is going to have to stop as it's not healthy to keep reading this stuff. The Book As these books usually do, on the front is a picture of a young girl looking miserable. As these books usually do, there is a quote ...
...boy' which I'm sure I've read) saying how it's a powerful tale of triumph against all odds. I think he must be employed just to write quotes on the front of these books. The blurb on the back of the book says "To the outside world, Izzy Hammond's deaf and partially blind parents were the subject of sympathy; inside the family home, their daughter was subjected to vicious abuse." This is actually incorrect as Izzy's parents were actually the subject ... Read review

My Booky Wook by Russell Brand
Review of My Booky Wook - Russell Brand by CLDbizz

Advantages: Absolutely hilarious, un-put-downable
Disadvantages: Tummy muscles may ache from all the giggles!!!

Russell Brand manages to captivate the reader with his exceptional mixture of heart-warming tales about his youth, along with the genuine silliness of his character and humorous anecdotes that set him well aside from all other comedians. The now well known comedy personality speaks of his life (or 'series of embarrassing incidents' as he puts it!) in a witty and whimsical fashion that is so endearing that it makes this autobiography one of the best ...
...to tell the fascinating renditions of his childhood in such a way that it'll have you belly-laughing from start to finish, not only does he have us glued to the page with engrossing stories of drugs and ultimate self-indulgence he also takes us zooming back to our own juvenescence with his illustrious childish language, if he wasn't receiving acclamation for such a fantastic book then he would have to be praised for being able to name an adults autobiography ...
