I was intrigued by this and just had to find the book to read it, I quickly found out that i was not going to be disappointed by this story of unimaginable pain and suffering endured during the second world war in the prison camps of Asia. I saw The two of us my life with John Thaw advertised and as i am a fan of John Thaw i had to go out and buy the book for myself. I bought the hardback book at £16.99 and a few weeks later it had dropped in price. I read my life with John Thaw by Sheila Hancock in a few days as i couldn't put the book down.
