I bought the Bionaire BAP242 Compact Air Purifier with Ioniser in 2005, and I have just bought another which is why I am writing this review. It's an excellent product, and serves it's purpose brilliantly. After a few hours of use, you can feel the difference in the quality of the air. I find that it works best in a room where the door is closed. There are many reviews which state that the air purifier does not do what it's supposed to do, I beg to differ. It just needs to be used correctly (that is, in the correct area of the room, etc). The filters, which need to be replaced every 6-12 months, can be purchased over the telephone (the number is in the instruction guide), or from various sites online.
