This one we got from argos at about £90 This item has two sets of filters in side and you get a smaller type with one set. Each set have the main filter with the hepa part which filters done to the smallest particules which is 0.3 microns ... ...remove 99.9% of airborne particules. The other part of the filter is basically car thick carbon sheet which collects all the dust that gets sucked into the filter before the air goes though the hepa filter. This means the carbon filters is replaced move often. Both filters are easy to change. The front panel is a large door which just pulls open to get to the filters which can then be removed.

Each set have the main filter with the hepa part which filters done to the smallest particules which is 0.3 microns (which I assume is very small) and claims to get remove 99.9% of airborne particules. The other part of the filter is basically car thick carbon sheet which collects all the dust that gets sucked into the filter before the air goes though the hepa filter. This means the carbon filters is replaced move often. Both filters are easy to change. The front panel is a large door which just pulls open to get to the filters which can then be removed. The carbon filters are recommened to be changed three of four times a year and the hepa filter about every 18 months, this depends on if like us you run the filter all the time. There is an light that works from green to red to let you know them the filters need replacing. We are selves had to do this before it got to red as my husband was so sensitive to the pollens. But I will point out that this was a big help as at one point he was having trouble even with the door to outside being open and closed, the filter soon cleaned the air. We run the filter mostly at the highest setting. The filter has an off and then four settings It can be abit noisey on the higher settings. We did have a problem getting the replacement filters but luckily we keep the booklet that came with the filters and that had a number to ring to order more but we did have to wait as they where out of stock. I order before our filters where due to run out so we always had spares. This size unit can keep the air clean in a room of upto 30 square metres. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally. As far as I know if is only available in the off white with grey top and control panel. Size is approx. 18 inches high 8inches deep and 16 inches long in the upright position. This uses the same amount of electric as a standard light bulb according to the manufacturers.
