The purifier works great, but is a bit noisy. The brand name filters are outrageously expensive. With a little research, you can find filters that can be washed or replaced at a reasonable cost.

I have to admit, i actually bought this item second hand, so it was considerably better value for money than if bought new. I think they're a little pricey when new. If you do buy, it's worth looking at amazon or argos and doing a few searches as prices... more
I've used Bionaire air purifiers for a few years and think they are great. This is one of the larger models size-wise because it covers a larger area (approx. 84m2), which personally i needed. This makes it dearer to buy of course, but i did not hesitate more
