...My ode to Biotherm continues here… Because I never buy just one product but a few of the same brand, so they work in synergy, I've not only got Age Fitness Power for my face (see one of my previous reviews) but chose a treat for my eyes, too. Just look at the picture. Isn’t it pretty? It’s a beautiful glass bottle, about 8 cm tall (including the silver plastic pump covered with a matt plastic lid), heavy and smooth when you hold it. The bottle comes in a box with Biotherm logo on it and also containing a leaflet. The little bottle contains a magic solution that, according to Biotherm, “specifically developed to target the first signs of aging around the eyes and immediately smoothes the skin and helps relieve signs of fatigue” I haven’t got none of those problems yet (Thank you, God and mum for my precious genes!) but I’d rather... ...I read an article in a magazine that a free bottle of Biotherm was available for free. I bought the magazine called Zest as a way to save money to get the free sample bottle of "Biotherm" anti-drying lotion. So having spent a few hours travelling to Central London to Selfridges i saw 2 or 3 similar women getting the same product. Ingredients include Aspartic acid, Glutamic acid, Nicotiana, soybean oil, parrafinium liquidium among other chemicals. Having read the ingredients of the contents does not convince me to use this stuff on my body. What i did was test a little part on my finger to see the effects on my manly rough hands skin. Upon opening there was a fake citrus orange or lime smell fragrance which i feel strongly is pleasant. The milk took 2 minutes to partially absorb, leaving a smooth shiny finished look. I agree... ....clarins.com for details if you're worried but tempted.)It totally wakes you up in the morning. (Or afternoon... after a party the previous night...) You're free to try out other slimming products, but my suggestion is to stick with the higher end ones (a tub costs only as much as a good eye cream, and will last forever if stored properly, if it's not free in the case of samples. In any case, I don't recommend trying out cheaper products on your face because you don't know what ingredients went into them) like Clarins, Dior and Biotherm. But I've only got the Clarins one, so I won't know how effective the others are. I also can't say anything about other Clarins products with respect to this.
