Biotherm Cleansing Gel for Normal Skin

I have used a number of Biotherm products in the past and one of my favourite cleansers has to be the Biotherm Biosource Foaming Cleansing Gel. The Cleansing Gel can be bought from the usual suspects like Superdrug and Boots and costs around £15 for the 150ml tube. The price is a little steep, but for such an effective cleanser I think it is worth the expense.

I often have greasy skin, but it is also quite sensitive so I don't want to use something that is too harsh. The Biotherm Biosource Foaming Cleansing Gel is gentle enough on my skin as not to give me a reaction, but is also strong enough to clear my skin of greasy deposits and therefore aiding the prevention of acne. My skin isn't left feeling dry after use, something which a lot of cleansers can do after removing the oily coating from your skin.

The gel is light blue in colour and is quite thick. I simply put a small amount on my hand and use warm water to create a lather. The lather is very rich and it is easy to apply to my face before rinsing off. The 150ml tube goes a long way as I don't need to use a large amount of product for each use. The back of the tube says this cleanser contains Thermal Plankton which is said to rejuvinate skin to its natural healthy state. The Ciao! image is similar to the tube I own, though I think the image here is of a different product, as mine is in a light green tube. The packaging does sell the product very well, as it gives the impression that this is a very professional and well thought out product - which it is.

I would say the Biotherm Biosource Foaming Cleansing Gel has given me better results than other cleansers I have tried, but I feel obliged to mark it down one star for price. The results are hard to fault, as I find my skin refreshed and much cleaner to the touch. Removing grease and impurities from my skin gives me confidence that fewer spots will form on my skin. My acne has calmed down a bit, with fewer new blemishes appearing whilst using this product. My confidence in Biotherm products is certainly not waining after discovering their Foaming Cleansing Gel.
