Peas, yes, peas, they’re a small and simple vegetable that takes minimal fuss to add to many different dishes. For this reason, I always have a bag of frozen peas in the freezer. My preferred choice is Bird’s Eye, as they are far more flavoursome and delicious than the other frozen peas that are available. Birds Eye is a very popular brand with around 60 years of experience, with their ever-expanding range becoming increasingly modern, healthy and varied. Their Petits Pois are a favourite of mine and my first choice for peas, being a bit of a freezer staple in our house. Petits Pois are different to regular garden peas in the sense that they're smaller and sweeter. I guess it's down to personal preference, but I love the pois peas because they're a tad softer if cooked well.
