NOT so Syrup Crunch
Review of McVities Golden Syrup Creams by donf18

Advantages: Great taste
Disadvantages: Very hard to find in the shops

...none to be had. McVities make many biscuits of this kind and most of them are readily available at ASDA and places like that. There are normally a dozen biscuits in the colourful packet, which has a picture on its face of the product contained within. The packet retails for about 69p depending on where you purchase them. The packet has a red plastic strip to help open the plastic wrapping, but as usual I fail to find this until too late and have ...
...They most certainly smell of syrup as I the gorgeous aroma hits my nose and I anticipate the pleasure to come. The biscuits are approx 2 inches in diameter and 1/8 of an inch thick. Two of these are sandwiched together with a caramel coloured cream. The crunch to these little masterpieces is obvious the moment you take your first bite, as they crumble all over the carpet. Ooops all is OK the dog has salvaged the dropped crumbs as seems to be enjoying ... Read review

A poor mans Rich tea biscuit
Review of Tesco Value Rich Tea Biscuit by mumsymary

Advantages: Good value
Disadvantages: bit boring really

...tea pack costs 71p from Tesco so as you can tell from the price. Rich tea biscuits are not the most exciting of biscuit. The Tesco value pack comes in the standard value packaging white with blue writing a picture of a couple of biscuits on it too , blue ends of the paper seal the end of the biscuit pack .. If you do not wish your friends to notice that you are so poor/mean you have to buy value biscuits then unwrap put them in a biscuit tin or ...
...biscuits of any kind. The Tesco value rich tea are an ok biscuit a certainly not much different to any other rich tea biscuit. I am putting 7 of these biscuits on a plate. You will know why in a minute. I look at them they are flat and round, I guesstimate about 2 inches in diameter. They are a light golden brown in colour and have a few holes pricked in them. I am sorry I am tempted to eat one It is crisp as I said bland the ingredients, Wheat ... Read review

Nutty Perfection
Review of Kinder Bueno by donf18

Advantages: Just a delicous confection
Disadvantages: Only the allergy to NUTS thing

...bar. The large writing containing Kinder was another hint that I was onto something good. Since my son was very small we have had a bit of a soft spot for Kinder chocolate, he used to collect the special edition toys, turtles doing sports was one which really took his fancy and to this day we have a small house shaped cabinet which hangs on our hallway wall displaying said set of turtles. Since the glory days of the kinder egg there have been several ...
...one has a bit of everything for everyone. There are two very substantial bars in each packet and at a retail price of around 55p exceptional value for money. Each of these bars is subsequently portioned into four equally substantial blocks, being around 1 inch long and .75 of an inch wide and an equal distance high. The milk chocolate, which houses the filling, has a very delicate dark chocolate swirl, which embellishes it lightly from end to end. ... Read review

Satisfy your sweet tooth with just 75 calories
Review of Cadbury Highlights Honeycomb Nibbles by nicolemorgan

Advantages: Sugary and yummy!
Disadvantages: Not many in a packet, may contain traces of nuts, probably just a marketing ploy for dieters

...some sugar, I stumbled across Cadbury Highlights Honeycomb Nibbles. They come in a pack that contains 6 treat size bags and I paid around 69p for them in Home Bargains. Obviously you can expect to pay more at the supermarket. The packet promises to contain 'honeycomb flavour mini biscuits half covered with milk chocolate.' There is also a plain variety available with a standard biscuit half covered with Cadbury milk chocolate. Each 16g bag contains ...
...biscuit is a layer of Cadbury milk chocolate, perfect for satisfying your cocoa cravings. The combination of the two is very yummy indeed, especially if you've been living off carrot sticks and low fat ready meals all week long. So now for the downside. The portion is tiny. Each bag seems to contain 7 of these little biscuity treats. Obviously, I didn't expect to get lots since they are still meant to help me lose weight but the number of biscuits ... Read review

A lot of chocolate on your biscuit
Review of Bahlsen First class chocolate biscuits by mumsymary

Advantages: very nice.
Disadvantages: only calories

Bahlsen have been making biscuits for over 100 years, their headquarters in Hanover, Germany, they now make and market biscuits in many other countries too. Bahlsen make several varieties of chocolate biscuit but the one I chose was a milk chocolate one. I bought my 125g pack at Tesco's price was £1.25p for a packet. You can also buy them at other supermarkets for around the same price. The packet a slim rectangular cardboard one. Inside a plastic ...
.... The biscuits are rectangular. A sweet buttery golden brown biscuit which has been half dipped in dairy milk chocolate. The frilly edge of the biscuit is attractively marked and in the centre of the both the biscuit and the chocolate side the words choco Leibniz is scrolled It is not a mean covering of chocolate but a good thick one that you can get your teeth into and have a good bite . In fact I think this biscuit is more chocolate than biscuit ... Read review
