I recieved the hard floor solution also in the box. But I havent tried this bit yet, and again you can buy the solution from bissell direct. You can use the machine on lots of of things spillages,stair carpets, rugs, 3-piece suites, mattress, a must for those people who love to give a spring clean. Emptying and refilling the bucket all depends on how soiled the carpets or furniture is, the last time i used the machine i emptyed and refilled up with fresh water and solution every half an hour. The only thing im not keen on is the power brush not much suction, also the fact thats its very heavy so beware on the stairs and the colour (Lilac). There are 4 on board tools,the turbo power brush, a thin nozzle crevice tool for cleaning small places and 2 different size heads for cleaning the furniture and the stairs, with clear heads ...

Bissell Proheat Takes the strain and the stain!

Advantages: Works very well on your floors
Disadvantages: None noticed

the Marshall Ward catalogue, so it was delivered direct to our door. It comes with an easy-to-read instruction 20 page instruction booklet. This booklet is unique in my recent experience of instruction booklets in that it is easy to understand and use and does not come complete with page after page of multi-lingual instructions that merely cause misery and confusion to the hapless soul trying to understand how to use the equipment! (Individual language instruction booklets such as that which comes with the Bissell ProHeat II are the way forward, in my opinion. A little bit more expensive to produce? No worries! Review of Bissell PRO HEAT

Whatever you do Don't buy this machine.

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Everything

I have owned two of these machines, the reason for this being, the first one failed to work after cleaning one carpet. When I contacted Bissell about this they were next to useless in their response. Eventually however, it was picked up for repair after many phone calls and letters were sent to Bissell. The machine was eventually returned to me however, on unpacking it, I found that both back wheels had been smashed. More phone calls and letter ensued. Finally after even more phone calls and letters they promised to send a replacement machine. The second time of using this new machine it has again failed to work. It started emitting a strong burning smell and then stopped working. This machine has given me nothing but grief during the time I have owned it.
