Advantages: Works very well on your floors Disadvantages: None noticed
the Marshall Ward catalogue, so it was delivered direct to our door.
It comes with an easy-to-read instruction 20 page instruction booklet. This booklet is unique in my recent experience of instruction booklets in that it is easy to understand and use and does not come complete with page after page of multi-lingual instructions that merely cause misery and confusion to the hapless soul trying to understand how to use the equipment! (Individual language instruction booklets such as that which comes with the BissellProHeatII are the way forward, in my opinion. A little bit more expensive to produce? No worries! I'll pay the extra, thank you very much!)
Following a friendly welcome form Mark J. Bissell, the president and chief executive officer of Bissell, come some comprehensive safety instructions. The rest of the user guide is filled ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Bissell PRO HEAT
I have owned two of these machines, the reason for this being, the first one failed to work after cleaning one carpet. When I contacted Bissell about this they were next to useless in their response. Eventually however, it was picked up for repair after many phone calls and letters were sent to Bissell.
The machine was eventually returned to me however, on unpacking it, I found that both back wheels had been smashed. More phone calls and letter ensued. Finally after even more phone calls and letters they promised to send a replacement machine. The second time of using this new machine it has again failed to work. It started emitting a strong burning smell and then stopped working.
This machine has given me nothing but grief during the time I have owned it. I am now going to experience the greatest joy and pleasure ...
Advantages: Cleans like a dream Disadvantages: Heavy, small bladder capacity, overall poor quality.
I have owned my BissellProHeat2 for three years now, and while I loved it initially it has not withstood the test of time very well. Overall, I think that this machine is just poorly-designed.
First, the water bladder is really small. I generally have to change out the water twice per room I clean. Considering how heavy this machine is to push around, you'd think you were carrying about a bathtub of water in it; it's frustrating to continually have to stop for a refill.
Also, the machine will let you continue cleaning after you've run out of water or solution, which can result in a very sticky, expensive mess if you're not paying attention.
It's difficult to get the machine clean once you've used it, as well. I have cats, and find that the machine tends to collect their hair in little balls and then deposit them ...
