The casing measures 107mm by 60mm by 15.5mm deep & its total weight is 111 grams. So not too bad at all. The big screen makes viewing easy and the texts are plain to see. Usually with non slide phones you find that keys can be pressed whilst the phone is in your pocket. But the Blackberry Curve 8320 comes with a setting that allows you to lock the keyboard when not in use. There is also an option of a security password which protects the smartphone and user data from other people. The video and camera option are easy to use but i have seen phones with a better camera. Overall i find this is one of the best all-round phoes available. The camera is not the best but who cares when you have so much more on offer! A beautiful phone with a large screen and easy to use keypad. The scrollball is really good. The ability to browse the internet is quick and easy.
Advantages: Keyboard is easy to use, layout is quite simple Disadvantages: Using phone when by wi-fi point can cause problems
The Blackberry Curve is not an I phone, it is not a brilliant music player etc. It is a work tool that has some useful extra features. Some of its claims are a little on the optimistic side, for instance its over 400 hour standby time, or almost 20 days. Well, I don't use my phone excessively, but 3 - 4 days is the most I've been able to go without charging it up again. Its camera isn't exactly top of the range, but it does take a passable photo ... ...make me recommend it. Quite simply it combines a number of useful functions together in a simple to use, and quite intuitive manner. The phone is quite clear, and its built in speaker phone is of excellent quality, although on max volume it does distort slightly. Its email setup is quite straight-forward, and it allows you to open attachments as well. It's main drawbacks are twofold. For a business tool, it doesn't have a decent calender function ...
