I have had my iPod classic for over a year now and i have had no problems with it at all. The battery has been fab, which i found went in the iPod mini. The graphics on the iPod are second to none and the simple uploading from itunes is a breeze. For movies i couldn't get over the sharp picture quality, as i have seen other mp3 players which seem to have a delay or a pixelated effect, the classic does not have this problem. You can also pause the film, listen to some music or anything else and come back to the movie just where you left it. these sexy new pieces of kit seemed to have limited memory. Although there are 16GB versions now available, at the time it was 8GB on both the iPhone and the Touch. My original 20GB iPod had been filled with the first ten months and I was looking for something to store ALL my songs, not just the music I was listening to that month. Speaking to one of the Apple guys over the phone they almost didn't seem to want to discuss the iPod Classic.
The iPod Classic is the best option for anyone who has a love of music which goes beyond the temporary.
