Black Sheep Ale is a nice, simple brew. It has a good, clean look to it, (sort of amber glow, if you like) and it always seem ot go down well, no matter what the weather.
It is brewed by the Black Sheep Brewery in Masham, Yorkshire. And it is clear that they know a thing or two about brewing really good, classic distinctive beers.
They pride themselves on employing only "time honoured and traditional brewing methods".
Apparently they use restored antique brewing equipment, using the famed Yorkshire square system, too. Not quite sure what it is, but any CAMRA member will tell you how vital it is to a good pint of traditional Yorkshire ale!
The beer has a welcome malty taste and the use of Golding hops, helps ensure just the right combination of sweetness and Hoppy bitterness that makes for a good pint of ale. It leaves a lingering and very pleasant aftertaste. The ABV is 4.4% and it is avaialble on draught or in 500 ml bottles.
As a Yorkshire lass, I love this stuff. A bit more info regarding flavour might help this get a higher rating, but once you've drunk enough of it you probably can't remember/ don't mind how it tastes anyway!!! x

Sorry for the low rating, but I would like to know a little more about the taste.

It would help the review a bit if you say where you got it from, but other than that it's fine
