Black Widow 9636 Pro

After a LOT of research, reading books, extensive internet searches, this scanner I thought was the best value for money. I've had it six months now and I have NEVER looked back. The quality of the scanner is A1, the resolution is excellent. I cannot fault the bundled software, (OCR, Page Manager, etc.) although there are only on-line manuals. This is an ideal scanner for personal use, an organisation or small business as it is connected through USB or Parallel ports so slightly slower data transfer. An excellent peice of pc equipment i love it it is so fast, so well built, so acutate perfect for graphic design and acetecture. Made in britain what more could u ask for u have to love it. it is a bit big and the scusi card does take up a slot in ur motherboard. but these r the only disadvantages of one hell of a scanner it is also very cheep only 120 pound last year and it has keeped its value. the soft ware is good as a starting point but u would really need to get a copy of adobe photoshop as this is a pros program (the best of the best) this just shows us pc lovers that apples arnt all ... more
