Black (Xbox)

Black was one of the more eagerly anticipated titles for the Xbox. It was made by the developers of the Burnout series - Criterion Games. This should give any reader a very good idea what to expect IE a high quality game which is a lot of fun, with lots of over the top action. Regardless, lets go back to the game. This game is absolutely incredible. The guns, explosions and enviroments are brilliantly made. If you shoot a window it will smash, if you shoot at a car it will blow up and if you lob a grenade into a building you will see Hollywood effect explosions. They say that the guns are "the stars of the show" and they weren't lying. Every weapon has an outstanding personality and each have there own level of destruction. Wow, this game just blows away any other action shooter so far its fast, fun and continuously playable. the game really shows the older consoles are still able to make great games as this is extremely real with amazing sound where everything does something when shoot at. the graphics are what I can only describe as perfect you wouldn't believe it, really its that good everything shines everything realistic with sharpness great camera effects explosions and everything. the game is also so easy to get in to and learn to play and play well shooting everything in sight with a huge range of weapons ... more
