My partner ordered two new tyres for our car and went to a garage in Milton Keynes to have them replaced. The new tyres were installed on the front wheels of the car. Less than one week later, one of the front tyres became flat - whilst I was driving the car by myself on the motorway. This could have been an extremely dangerous situation if other drivers on the motorway had not allowed me to get from the outside lane over to the hard shoulder and quickly.
The RAC recovery guy inspected the wheel before he put the emergency wheel on and told me that one of the alloy wheel nuts was missing too.
Complaint to the company resulted in an "investigation" with the garage concerned. This happened over a week ago and they've taken no responsibility for the incident. They don't even seem to have taken it particularly seriously and haven't bothered to return a single phone call, but were quite happy to take the money.
It is clear that the garages they use are unchecked and unreliable - definitely poor installation service given that one of our wheel nuts was missing. They didn't note that it was missing on the paperwork when they looked at the car - so they lost it or they didn't tighten it properly.
Plus - we never received a reply to our complaint to black circles until a second email was sent. The MD seems very happy to plaster his name all over their marketing emails, mentioning how important feedback is to his company and that it should be directed to him. This clearly isn't the case - our feedback been disregarded and our customer service requirements ignored.
Stay well clear of Blackcircles - we tried eTyres instead and they're brilliant. In stark contrast to Blackcircles they provided quick, efficient, friendly service and couldn't have been better.
