Car Radio - Panel Release, Panel/Quick Release - with CD Player, With CD-Player - without CD-Changer, With changer control - with MP3 Playback, With MP3 Player - 208 Watt
Advantages: Panel Release - Lots of Features - Great Price Disadvantages: Screen susceptible to Glare.
I bought this head-unit over a year ago now for about £80. It's now much cheaper than this, but at £80 it was great value.
The front panel is attractive and looks great on the dashboard. It looks striking but doesn't use garish colours like other popular brands, Alpine, Sony, Clarion etc. The white on black display is also very nice, but is susceptible to glare if you're using it in the midday sun!
Feature-wise, the SanRemo CD34 is rich. It features a great EQ allowing you to manipulate Bass and Treble, and also what's called X-Bass, which is a nifty tool for creating harmonics above a certain sub-bass note which allows the ear to perceive lower harmonics than are actually present. Great if you have speakers unable to replicate deep bass frequencies. It also has 3 EQ presets, Rock, Classical and Pop, which are useful for quick ...
Advantages: Luxury par excellance! Disadvantages: Snobby staff!
We booked this holiday through an Irish travel company called Abbey travel based in Dublin and although it was expensive (Italy usually is expensive in my opinion), we loveld the look of the hotel.
Flight was to Nice form Dublin with a personal taxi transfer to SanRemo at hurtling speeds across the French/Italian border.
The hotel is very grand indeed and would be a lovely place to take your most precious partner for a luxurious break and a bit of pampering. It really is 5 star in all aspects.
The rooms are sumptious and the decor is right out of an antique catalogue, the clientelle are all well heeled and the atmosphere is like out of a 1930's novel with Brits abroad emulating the grand tour of the 18th century.
As we are in Italy, it goes without saying that the food was gorgeous throughout our stay and the Italian style ...
Advantages: Excellent radio both at FM & AM Disadvantages: Tape player (No CD)
this blaupunkt car radio has an excellent radio front end at both FM & (mostly) AM! Its ability to receive AM (MW) radio broadcasts with the usual very short FM whip antennas that are commonly found at newer cars, is a real plus! And the sound on AM isn't bad at all. It does have a good AM IF bandwidth filter probably, that allow you to listen good sounded AM stations, with a quality (at least an AM quality that most newer radios doesn't provide for the forgotten ? MW band), while keeping the selectivity needed for first adjacent channel intereference out. A better noise blanker filter, or a faster AGC wil help a little at city terrains where the manmade static noises are higher!
For FM the sound is good (take in account the overcompressed FM modulated signals that most stations have now) and its sensitivity is good enough to get ...
