The THB Hotel Felip is supremely situated across the road from the small but immaculate beach and the sailing club. The Felip has some 90+ rooms, including 2 disabled and 8 single units situated in 2 blocks. The front of the hotel boasts the most spectacular views of the harbour inlet and the upper rooms also have a quality view of the town. The rooms are simply furnished but well appointed and spotlessly clean. The fourth floor double occupied by myself and my wife, was air conditioned, had a full bathroom with shower attachment, plasma TV with 2 English news channels, decent sized fridge/mini bar, good storage space, balcony with table and 2 chairs and sufficient electrical points and decent lighting ...
Advantages: Only £350! Disadvantages: plastic body, noise problem
This is by far, the best camera i own, i had the sony a100 wich unfortuantly broke, but the sony a200 delivers more with a bigger lcd screen and higher iso settings of 3200, i would strongly recomend this 10.2 megapixel camera to anyone.
The sony a200 sports a 18-70mm lens, which adds a bit more telephoto coverage, then other models aimed at this price.
The only problem with the sony a200 is when the camera focuses, it tends to make a lot of noise, and can take quit a while to focus on subjects, but apart from this, it is a realy nice camera, it is slightly smaller than the a100, but it still sports a plastic body, but thats expected of a slr at this price.
The camera has many more feutres inside, as sony use there feutres in the body, while other companies use lens based ones.
The camera has a Bionz image processing engine ...
Advantages: Relatively cheap, easy to use Disadvantages: None yet
I wanted an entry level DSLR and after some research decided on the Sony A200.
As a step up from a pocket digital camera the difference is amazing, although I've not yet figured out all the setting and buttons you can pretty much just start clicking with this. I didn't even read the manual before starting to click and it worked fine, its pretty intuitive.
All the pictures I've taken so far have turned out great, connecting them to a big TV you can see the difference with this and a standard digital immediately, fantastic detail and colours.
As a basic entry level DSLR for someone looking for the next step up in digital cameras you can't go far wrong with this camera. For more experienced users you might want a bit more. ...
