Advantages: Clear verbal instructions, very easy to use, dashboard intergrated makes it less "nickable" and a detachable facia, can do miles or KM Disadvantages: Does not give you idea of where you are, eg if your near points of interest, cant review whole route, so you cant check it out on a map
...I bought this system with a 5 disc cd system, the whole lot came in at a whopping £600. However, that aside, it was fantastic, we did a 3500 mile trip around France, Spain, Italy, switzerland and UK in 3 weeks. HELGA as we called our travelpilot, did not let us down once. Dare you take the option to not take motorways and she will take you down some of the most picturesque and isolated roads you will ever go down. We thought she had gone...

To enter a destination it is necessary to go through a menu and a series of entries not wholly unlike entering a text message on a mobile phone. There is a form of predictive texting, which can be quite useful.
The problem I found, though, was that before I could find the way to, say, Huddersfield Police Station I needed to know what road it is in. There seems to be no provision for places like hospitals or police stations as destinations.
Back to the AtoZ to get...
