Advantages: good looks, nice set of attachments, quality, excellent performance

We recently bought this device for our new home and are loving it. Great Smoothie Maker

I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). The jug is made of glass, not plastic and can hold up to 1.25 litres. You can put the glass jar, the lid and measuring cup (which fits ...

Fantastic Hand Blender/chopper

Advantages: Large containers for blitzing, powerful, variable speeds, pulsing
Disadvantages: Quite expensive - around £60

This Braun blender/chopper is fantastic. I have now thrown away my bulky full size processor. It comes with a 1 litre+ jug so I no longer need to process baby food a bit at a time. The jug also has an attachment to crush ice cubes - great for cocktails. There is also a smaller container which is tall & slim to prevent splashback. I have owned my kitchen aid for 6 months now and I can't imagine how I lived in this world without one. This is the only blender I have ever used that is built to withstand the tests of time.
