Advantages: It's cheap. VERY cheap. Disadvantages: It doesn't do--satisfactorily--anything a blender should.
1) Difficult to assemble, since the "threads" on the blade assembly and the jug do not line up well.
2) Even more difficult to disassemble, once you have put the blade part on really tight.

This blender was not really cheap but it is terrible. When you switch it on it vibrates across the surface so you have to hold it. It then unclicks the jug and therefore stops, so you have to hold it gently and go with the flow! If you more than 1 ...
