The pros and cons of using the Kenwood SB100
Advantages: Price Disadvantages: Quality
...blender and imparticular a the Kenwood SB100 blender is that you have to think what you are using it for.
If you are using it for a convenient and easy way of avoiding chopping up and the cooking of certain foods such as fruit and soft vegetables, then it is for you. Personally I found it a very helpful tool of making soups and dips. The problem is that if you use it for just smoothy making the end result may not be all you expect. The key to this ... ...put in. If it had a hard skin, the smoothy you get back will have a hard skin. What is worse is that if you put something with pips in which will make your smoothy awkward to drink.
Overall you realy need to think what you want to do with the blender and if you are willing to have a slightly lumpy smoothy! The real difference between this blender and the other Kenwoods is that the far lower price was representative of the quality. Personally I found ...

Smoothie Cocktail (And Soup!!) Maker
Advantages: Ease Of Use, Handy Front Tap, Easy To Clean, Good Looking Disadvantages: Lid Does Not Fully Seal
...kitchen appliances is, of course, Kenwood and I will now review the Kenwood Smoothie Concert.
Design
The design of the Kenwood Smoothie Concert is fairly simple really and is designed in a way that it will fit in with almost any kitchen, modern or not, meaning you could quite happily leave it out on the worktop along with the kettle and toaster, making it always ready for use. The base is made from tough plastic, which is finished to look like ... ...you will notice with The Kenwood Smoothie Concert, over a normal blender, is the fact that the jug has a tap on the front of it. Where the jug fits in to the base and at the front, where the tap is, the base is curved inwards creating an area where you can hold, or stand, a cup or glass, in which to dispense you freshly blended smoothie from the tap built in to the jug. To the right of the tap are the four control buttons, and also the name 'Kenwood ...

Possibly the best smoothie machine ever!
Advantages: blends and crushes almost everything you could want to drink Disadvantages: can be hard to clean
...works well with many other Kenwood products particularly kettles and toasters. The blade crushes or blends most things that you could put in it, particularly good with ice and ice cream. Can be a bit of a pain to clean particularly by the tap. The pulse setting is particularly good in making really smooth smoothies. Best recipe for a smoothie: add 3 rings of pineapple, two banannas, large glug of apple juice and small glug of pomegrante juice into ...

Philips Blender
Advantages: Looks great, top quality, safe, large capacity Disadvantages: None
...*Manual/Instructions*
In my experience, Philips have always provided a superb instruction booklet with all of their products. The manual for this particular blender is very well laid out and organised. It easy to identify your problem in the manual and find a solution to it. The contents have been logically organised which makes life very easy for the user. Each of the different functions are clearly described in the manual and pretty much everything ... ...quality of the Philips brand name, which is both reliable and top quality. I would certainly go and by this if you want a top quality blender for a low price. This would also be the ideal wedding present if you are going to any weddings in the near future, ...

Easy way to 5 a day!
Advantages: Easy to use and clean. Looks nice Disadvantages: Noisy
...5 a day and the Kenwood SB 277 has done the trick!
The machine itself is quite large but its black and chrome exterior means that it looks good on the kitchen worktop. It is easy to put together. I managed to assemble it fairly quickly. It has a large glass jug (1.5l capacity), which is dishwasher safe. The black lid has a hole with a cap to add ingredients. It also has a pull down tap making it easy to serve the smoothie up into several glasses. ... ...makes it simple to get your smoothies to the right consistency. I personally like mine not to thick and lump free so I used the faster speed for a slightly longer time. It blends very well although it is quite loud. The smoothies themselves were absolutely delicious. It comes with a recipe book full of ideas to try. I have also found it useful for crushing ice and making cocktails! This has been a quick, easy and delicious way to 5 a day! ...
