I bought this hand blender when I started weaning my baby. I wanted to make his food myself to ensure I knew what went in it, I for some reason have a huge distrust in jarred baby food. It is comfortable to use, fitting perfectly into your hand and blends the food up pretty quickly. It has a detachable foot, making it so easy to clean. It is quite small, stores away well. I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). ...the case that it has only been designed for occasional use. The manual advises that the blades can be easily removed for cleaning. We found the blades stuck fast and it impossible to remove the blades on all 3 blenders we owned. The preset controls make it really easy to use. Its a real shame we can't seem to get a working one.
