Best kitchen gadget i own. My parents bought me one as a gift when I was ill and did not feeling like eating or cooking much. They have one and it was so amazing they said I would like it too. I was skeptical at first but this is best gadget I have. I use it for making soups mainly. I make big vats of soup and then put it into smaller portions in freezer bags in the freezer and defrost for lunches etc. I also use it to make hot chocolate and complan as its whisks out any powder lumps. Its portable and really easy to wash the attachments, i just rinse them under the tap don't bother with washing up liquid or anything like that! This Braun blender/chopper is fantastic. I have now thrown away my bulky full size processor. It comes with a 1 litre+ jug so I no longer need to process baby food a bit at a time. The jug also has an attachment to crush ice cubes - great for cocktails. There is also a smaller container which is tall & slim to prevent splashback. I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). We found the blades stuck fast and it impossible to remove the blades on all 3 blenders we owned. The preset controls make it really easy to use. Its a real shame we can't seem to get a working one.
