...in hand I bought a Dualit 83234 Professional Blender in a Charcoal Grey colour for £85. This blender features a removable glass jug with an easy pour spout with a capacity to take 1.5 Litres of fluid. One of the main features this blender has is an interlocking system to prevent the blades within the jug from turning until the lid and the jug are secured in place. Now for m! e this is a great thing to have on my blender because the last one I had ... ...and when I purchased my Dualit blender it came with a very comprehensive recipe booklet which details a lot of recipes you can use your blender for such as soups. Advantages: Excellent powerful blender Disadvantages: Very unreliable

When the blender works it is very good. The blender is very powerful and blends fruit and ice into great smoothies. When it ... ...the case that it has only been designed for occasional use.
The manual advises that the blades can be easily removed for cleaning. We found the blades stuck fast and it impossible to remove the blades on all 3 blenders we owned.

The jug unattaches from the base easily enough and the blades unscrew for ease of cleaning but you do need to make sure they are ...

Bought this for around £50 and was initially impressed with its features but ultimately i was unimpressed with it's durability. The motor is very strong and can crush ice/oats and fruit/veg easily but i found that the glass jug, while very strong and heavy, was still prone to cracking when it contained a lot of liquid. After about 6 months of use the glass jug began to crack around the handle, meaning you couldn't fill up the jug all the way when ...
