A great tool that wears out too soon
Review of Braun MR 6550 M BCHC /HCBC Multiquick Pro by
vegansophie
Advantages: Highly versatile, excellent blender and good grinder
Disadvantages: Wears out within a year or two of regular use
We love this, especially the grinder that we use every day for linseed for our cereal. The grinder is great for small amounts but only fill it 1/4 full or it bungs up. All the attachments are handy, though we don't use the veg processor bit much as it doesn't work that well - you would be better off with a bigger machine for that.
The moving interlocking mechanisms are plastic and this is a real failing - they simply wear down and wear out. We're ...

Wonderul for soup making
Review of Braun MR4050HC by
SASO1
Advantages: easy to use, makes lovely soup, easy to clean, reaonably priced
Disadvantages: none
Best kitchen gadget i own. My parents bought me one as a gift when I was ill and did not feeling like eating or cooking much. They have one and it was so amazing they said I would like it too. I was skeptical at first but this is best gadget I have.
I use it for making soups mainly. I found I can make soup out of almost any vegetables just chop add some stock and water, boil for 20 minutes or so and then blend and then you have yummy hot soup. Perfect ... ...a bit old. I make big vats of soup and then put it into smaller portions in freezer bags in the freezer and defrost for lunches etc.
I also use it to make hot chocolate and complan as its whisks out any powder lumps.
Its portable and really easy to wash the attachments, i just rinse them under the tap don't bother with washing up liquid or anything like that! I imagine though the blades could be quite sharp so you might have to be careful if you ...

A good all rounder
Review of Braun MR4000 by
victoriarichardson1
Advantages: Can tackle all kitchen blending needs!
Disadvantages: Would be good with additional attachments
This is a really handy item to have around the kitchen. You will be suprised at how many uses you can find for it. Essentially it will be mainly used for chopping, whisking, blending etc but it can handle most products with its hardy blade. It is really good to plug in and whisk up soups etc straight on the hob but can also be used in its own container which it comes with. Its easy to clean (just got to be careful of the blade) as you can detach ...

IT'S 12" LONG WITH A 300 WATT MOTOR!
Review of Braun MR 400 PLUS /MR 400 G Multiquick by
matthewsmum
Advantages: Reliable; Efficient; Inexpensive
Disadvantages: Single Speed; Difficult to Clean
...His name? Multiquick. Braun Multiquick.
So Why Did I Choose This Model?
After my experience with the very cheap Tesco blender a few months ago, I decided to go for a known brand which I could rely on. Admittedly, this is a very basic blender but is suitable for what I use it for, namely, lightly mashing food for my son and making soup and milk shakes. The blender also comes equipped with a ... ...
Yes folks, the Braun Multiquick has it all. In addition to attractive design itself and the reliability of this model, you could also be the proud owner of a high speed chopper. I am unable to review this accessory as I don't own one (boo-hoo) but I assume it chops the food rather than blends and connects to the motor unit in the same way as the blade shaft. This additional piece of equipment can be purchased from most ...

good blender but only available in white
Review of Braun MR5000 CA by
fido100
Advantages: top notch blender
Disadvantages: only available in white
I’ve been really impressed with this variable speed blender. Not only is it easy to use but it’s also great fun to whizz around when you’re cooking. When my girlfriend is in the other room while I’m cooking, I often blend stuff just to sound like I’m doing something exotic! Many readers compain (and quite justifiably) when you don’t put in stats about a product, so here goes:
The beaker has a very snugly fitting lid.
There is a fine chopper attachment ... ...dried cabbage.
An antisplash shaft is fitted as standard.
A wall holder is also included.
I believe it’s only available in white, which is a pity. My kitchen is predominantly maroon and puce and I’d love a blender to match.
The whole thing is very easy to clean.
PRICE: around 35 pounds sterling, though you can pick them up at some markets for under twenty. I’d advise going to a proper place so that you get the guarantee though. These things ...
