Advantages: Very easy to used and disassemble
Disadvantages: Broke after a few months

I bought this product from asda supermarket when i started giving my sons solids. I bought it when he was 4 months old, he is now 9 months and the blender has been broken for about 2 months. When i first bought it, it was fantastic did exactly what id hoped for. It comes with the jug so all i did was put his food into the jug and when he was on smooth food i blended it for ages and when he started eating lumper food i just didnt blend it for as long. ...
...to use it and the blade from the middle would screw into place properly so it kept falling out and wouldnt spin, which in turn ment it wouldnt blend. I suppose i could have over used it as i used it roughly 2-3 times a day but personally i think it should have lasted slightly longer. Advantages: Cheap, glass jug, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Chrome finish looks a little cheap, only 2 speed settings.

...shopping around I got the Haden HCB-100 and I'm not disappointed. It is a study blender, with 2 blending speeds and a pulse setting that blends at high speed for a long as you turn the button (excellant for getting bits of the sides at the end of blending!). The base unit itself is plastic in a crome effect finish which looks nice enough. It had on central knob that controls the blending speeds by clicking to the right and activates the pulse feature ...
...use its a doddle, as for looks, the chrome affect is somewhat cheap looking, but then you get what you pay for a stainless steel blender would cost a lot more! The jug itself is glass which is nice, adding a touch of quality. As you would expect it has a scale running up it letting you know the amount of fluid inside in ml and Litres (presumebly for those unable to divide by 1000). I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). ...not the removable blade). There is a separate filter that you can put in where the measuring cup is kept (not in photo, but it would be in the centre of the jug). This allows you to put fruits that contain seeds or skin that you don't want 'blended' in your smoothie. By using the filter you can also make soya milk! We purchased this blender to make smoothies and vegetable soups. We are on our third blender in 3 months due to various faults. Blender 1. ...the case that it has only been designed for occasional use. The manual advises that the blades can be easily removed for cleaning. We found the blades stuck fast and it impossible to remove the blades on all 3 blenders we owned. The preset controls make it really easy to use. Its a real shame we can't seem to get a working one. My daughters both love milk shakes and fruit drinks but trying to get them to eat a piece of fruit is near impossible so when i spotted this blender for just £15.23p at asda i thought i would give it a go as if it wasnt any good i hadnt wasted a fortune on it. I was very surprised with how easy this blender is to use, the base attaches to the jug very easily and the power wont start if the jug isnt attached properly so no risk of the jug flying ...
...the front and a pulse mode to make things even smoother. The jug is 1.5 litres which is an ideal size for what we need and is made of plastic, the blades are stainless steel so are brilliant for blending fruit and according to the box they are supposed to be tough enough to mix ice but i havent had any need to try this.
