Advantages: easy to clean and easy to lift the jug on and off Disadvantages: none as yet

Advantages: Quick and simple to use. Blends most foods even red meats. Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to clean
I bought this when I was weaning my 6 month baby boy and I must admit it has revolutionised my life. I am puree mad and everything goes in there from fruit to red meat! It is very simple to master, instructions are provided but to be honest you can pick up the blender and use straight away. The smaller blade in the chopping bowl can be fiddly to clean but you can always pop it in the dishwasher. I also found the chopping bowl can miss chunks of food, ... ...all gets blitzed. One tip: when blending use a dish/container deep enough, because as my kitchen walls have learnt it can tend to spray out. Nevertheless this has been one of my best buys as a new mum and does get used on a daily basis. It has 2 speeds and this is ample to blend even red meat. ...
Advantages: Compact, easy to use and safe. Disadvantages: Ice crushing isn't great
...only a couple of you, Kenwood do larger versions so if you want to make more at once then they may be a better option. A booklet of recipes comes with it, I think there are 14 smoothie recipes and a few alcoholic recipes too.
The unit cost £24.99 but it may be cheaper elsewhere and all in all it's a good quality product that produces decent results. ...
Advantages: Looks good, easy to use, good value, powerful motor, large capacity. Disadvantages: May be too large for some
...suppose I went for the Kenwood Smoothie Club SB277 Smoothie Maker in particular because:-
a - It had previously retailed at £69.99 and was now on offer for just over £28.
b - Kenwood is a well established brand, especially in the kitchen appliance market.
c - The Kenwood Smoothie Club SB277 Smoothie Maker looked good and appeared as if it would fit nicely in my fairly new kitchen.
The downside was that after ordering it I realised that Amazon ... ...had ordered.
* Our Kenwood Smoothie Club SB277 Smoothie Maker.
Of course, although I had read the specification on line, I had not really paid enough attention. If your purchase needs to be specific I suggest that you do not copy me.
The assembled Smoothie Maker stands quite high, at about one and a half foot. It is black and chrome in colour and does look stylish. However it is a little large for us. That said there is no reason we cannot use ...

Review of Kenwood SB277
...blender and imparticular a the Kenwood SB100 blender is that you have to think what you are using it for.
If you are using it for a convenient and easy way of avoiding chopping up and the cooking of certain foods such as fruit and soft vegetables, then it is for you. Personally I found it a very helpful tool of making soups and dips. The problem is that if you use it for just smoothy making the end result may not be all you expect. The key to this ... ...put in. If it had a hard skin, the smoothy you get back will have a hard skin. What is worse is that if you put something with pips in which will make your smoothy awkward to drink.
Overall you realy need to think what you want to do with the blender and if you are willing to have a slightly lumpy smoothy! The real difference between this blender and the other Kenwoods is that the far lower price was representative of the quality. Personally I found ...
