I burnt my face with hot leek and potato soup after the lid flew off, with me and my g/f trying to hold it in place. Bought this for around £50 and was initially impressed with its features but ultimately i was unimpressed with it's durability. The motor is very strong and can crush ice/oats and fruit/veg easily but i found that the glass jug, while very strong and heavy, was still prone to cracking when it contained a lot of liquid.
