Blender is not fit for purpose

Advantages: Cheap, great for liquids, large jug, two speeds, good customer service, suction cup feet
Disadvantages: Doesn't cope with solids at all

A GOOD *BLEND* OF BASIC AND BRILLIANT?

Advantages: cheap, does what I need it to do, easy to clean and store
Disadvantages: noisy, only two speed settings
