I bought this blender off of e-bay and didn't really know what to expect. When it arrived I was very impressed with the strong glass jug and the easy clean setting which meant it didn't need a thorough washing after each use. Bought this for around £50 and was initially impressed with its features but ultimately i was unimpressed with it's durability. The motor is very strong and can crush ice/oats and fruit/veg easily but i found that the glass jug, while very strong and heavy, was still prone to cracking when it contained a lot of liquid. We bought this smoothie maker to help my husband become healthier and for me to enjoy fruit in a different way. Overall, it's not a bad product and it's generally quite powerful. ...get a bit of friction which wears out quite quickly. It's got a good capacity but the hand mixer doesn't reach as far down to the bottom of the jug as I'd like. We used it twice a day and within about a month it was beginning to feel worn. The other problem is that if you use it, you must clean it thoroughly, particularly the pouring tap.
