Advantages: High quality, good performance Disadvantages: None!
I bought this smoothie maker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). The jug is made of glass, not plastic and can hold up to 1.25 litres. You can put the glass jar, the lid and measuring cup (which fits ... ...not the removable blade). There is a separate filter that you can put in where the measuring cup is kept (not in photo, but it would be in the centre of the jug). This allows you to put fruits that contain seeds or skin that you don't want 'blended' in your smoothie. By using the filter you can also make soya milk! You have to soak the soya beans first then put in the filter to be 'ground' up with water. There are three different buttons: Smoothie, ...
Advantages: Very easy to clean, multi-functional, perfect for making baby food Disadvantages: Cable a bit short
My Mum got this for me when I wanted a hand-blender after my child was born. This blender is great! I use the mixing bowl to turn granulated sugar into castor or icing sugar for baking and it's works a treat. The blending part is invaluable with a young baby and is now being used for No 3. You can alter how blended you would like the baby food to be by length of time. It is very easy to wash (a big plus for me as many blenders are awful). It also ...

Review of Braun MR4000
Advantages: Easy to use and clean. Looks nice Disadvantages: Noisy
...5 a day and the Kenwood SB 277 has done the trick!
The machine itself is quite large but its black and chrome exterior means that it looks good on the kitchen worktop. It is easy to put together. I managed to assemble it fairly quickly. It has a large glass jug (1.5l capacity), which is dishwasher safe. The black lid has a hole with a cap to add ingredients. It also has a pull down tap making it easy to serve the smoothie up into several glasses. ... ...makes it simple to get your smoothies to the right consistency. I personally like mine not to thick and lump free so I used the faster speed for a slightly longer time. It blends very well although it is quite loud. The smoothies themselves were absolutely delicious. It comes with a recipe book full of ideas to try. I have also found it useful for crushing ice and making cocktails! This has been a quick, easy and delicious way to 5 a day! ...

Review of Kenwood SB277
Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: looks boring
...really value for money.
Kenwood BL 335 might look really bland and boring but, it does the job as the expensive and stylish ones available now at the market.
This blender is very easy to use, easy to clean and is very effective at its job.
Now i will tell you why this product is better then other expensive blenders around and convince you to buy it...here goes...:
Kenwood BL 33 is a 1 litre blender used to prepare food. Its a liquidizer which ... ...very easy to clean, just use liquid and water and rinse.
Overall Kenwood blenders performance is really could and that why i recommend anyone that has a broken blender of doesn't have one, not to waste money on expensive blenders and buy one like this because its really good. ...
Advantages: Quick and simple to use. Blends most foods even red meats. Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to clean
I bought this when I was weaning my 6 month baby boy and I must admit it has revolutionised my life. I am puree mad and everything goes in there from fruit to red meat! It is very simple to master, instructions are provided but to be honest you can pick up the blender and use straight away. The smaller blade in the chopping bowl can be fiddly to clean but you can always pop it in the dishwasher. I also found the chopping bowl can miss chunks of food, ... ...all gets blitzed. One tip: when blending use a dish/container deep enough, because as my kitchen walls have learnt it can tend to spray out. Nevertheless this has been one of my best buys as a new mum and does get used on a daily basis. It has 2 speeds and this is ample to blend even red meat. ...
